UPDATE ON MERSTHAM MATCH STATEMENT

Leatherhead Football club has today suspended a person following an investigation into their behaviour during an incident at our match against Merstham FC on Saturday 2nd March 2019.

A thorough investigation was conducted and after collating a variety of relevant evidence, an internal hearing was held on 13th March 2019 to determine the outcome.

The hearing found that a fan was guilty of serious anti-social behaviour and as a result has been given an indefinite ban from attending any home matches at Fetcham Grove.

Leatherhead Football Club takes pride in being a family club and operates a zero-tolerance approach to this detestable behaviour.

Any spectator who is found guilty of any form of racist, homophobic, aggressive, abusive or antisocial behaviour will be subject to the most severe sanctions available to the club.
