News: A message from Kensington Borough

Now that the season has come to and end the staff at Kensington Borough FC just wanted to say a massive thanks to everyone connected to Leatherhead FC. Everyone involved at Kensington Borough has enjoyed being at the ground and from day 1 we’ve been treated like it is our home. Hopefully more success to to come from us all. Thank you.

Next season we will be looking to forge a greater link with Leatherhead FC as we enter our 2nd season ground sharing at Fetcham Grove. Players from Leatherhead FC who need competitive games will be able to get important minutes playing at Kensington and talented players from Kensington could potentially step up to train and play at Leatherhead. Both clubs have had great success this season in giving young players a chance in senior football and want to continue this success for the upcoming season.

We have already had 3 players from the Academy who are 16 years of age train with the first team which was a great experience for the young players concerned. The aim now is to get players from the Leatherhead Academy in and around the first teams at Kensington Borough FC and Leatherhead FC for the 2019-2020 season.
